Having a spiritual awakening or kundalini awakening, made me learn by experience, the impact that prayer has on the rise of the spiritual energy from the base of the spine up to my head.
It was until later after my spiritual emergency, that I have learned what somehow religions are aiming to explain, but in my opinion, they are not so clear about the real connection between the human and God/Universe/Higher Consciousness; that everything is connected, that God is within, and a profound experience with the universe can start once the pineal gland is fully activated.
There are some religions who promote or have on their culture to do fasting and prayer during a certain given period.
And certainly, yes, fasting will have its benefits directly to the body. as it helps to purge out from the gut, the accumulated toxins.
But what in my opinion what is not widely discussed, or commented, is that as a persons becomes “lighter” in the sense of having less food on his system, or less grounded, then there is a part of that spiritual energy that can also move up to the crown chakra in an easier way.
Fasting and praying do have an impact on reaching these new levels of consciousness.
Or at least in my experience, an intense spiritual practice, that might not have included a full fasting but at least a lighter diet, eventually lead me to have a sudden kundalini rising.
I didn’t know about the effects of doing an intense spiritual practice during the lent of 2020, it just happened.
Consciously or subconsciously, with my prayers in my spiritual practice, I provoked within me the spiritual awakening that lead to the spiritual emergency.
And years after, yes, I can say, I am feeling better in mind, body and spirit. I am more healed, focused, creative, observing synchronicities, and some other.
